Peter Deilmann Cruise Closes It's Doors

The end of summer will be the end of German river cruise line operator Peter Deilmann Cruises. The line has announced that it will cease its river cruise division at summer's end. Financial concerns are being blamed for the shut down.
Though the close is imminent, the company's UK managing director, Stuart Perl, said passengers booked on river cruises this summer have no need to worry as they will go ahead as planned. In October, the company's eight river cruise vessels will be sold off.
Interestingly, the announcement has not been officially made in the U.S.
