Holland America Introduces Express Docs

Holland America reports that almost 90% of their guests are using the convenient, time-saving Online check-in service to expedite their embarkation procedures. Their new Express Docs electronic notification system has made this even easier by providing the fastest access to Online Check-in, along with everything else needed to know for their Holland America vacation. print only what is needed, and arrive at the pier with their Signature Preferred boarding pass, identification, and vacation attitude.Express Docs notification will arrive electronically approximately 50 days before departure. There is immediate access to information about:
· Online Check-in
· Passports, Visas, and Immunizations
· Flight and Transfer Information
· Shore Excursions
· Onboard Gifts
· Planning and Advice checklists
· Contact and Communication Information
With faster, easier service and savings as well, is announcing that Express Docs will become their exclusive means of providing embarkation information, starting with all sailings departing on or after September 25, 2009. Given the extremely high incidence of Online Check-in, we expect the transition to be an easy one. Due to the complexities of the Grand Voyages, we will continue to provide full document wallets for these guests. Luggage tags for all other cruises have been greatly simplified and will be available at the pier.

New Holland America Ship

Holland America Line is ushering in the 2010 Europe cruise season with its newest ship, the Signature-class ms Nieuw Amsterdam. It, along with five other mid-sized ships -- ms Eurodam, ms Maasdam, ms Prinsendam, ms Noordam and ms Westerdam -- will sail 54 cruises and call at 142 ports from Norway to Turkey.
